Memory Verses for Spiritual Life Support

It is so helpful to know key Bible passages by heart. When I was a young Christian I was encouraged to buy some simple library cards and to write out the verse I wanted to learn of one side and the reference at the top of the other side. Then carry these around and keep trying to memorise the verses. It is very painful as very few of us have good memories, but in the long run it is so helpful. It is so helpful to teach these to our children.
